We were very fortunate to cross paths with Christine and her team from Galavante in 2020 when they reached out to IDL Web with a request to migrate their outdated Drupal website to the more popular WordPress CMS. The Galavante team had provided with the various designs to be implemented.
Galavante also chose to host with IDL Web Host on our Silver Plus package which includes free monthly minutes and WordPress maintenance as part of the monthly hosting cost. We actively monitor the site for any issues, including an active malware scanner. As a Plus host client, we proactively find and address issues, often times without the client’s knowledge.
Over the years we have worked with the Galavante team developing new features such as the Expedia Booking API integration right into Galavante, this task was 100% complete custom. We have also completed a new feature for TasteMaker reviews, allowing users to submit restaurant and hotel reviews. We integrated Google Places API to pull location names and address leaving no room for user error.
