A long story of the successful partnership began in 2011 with updates and adding features to Joomla. In 2017, Hypertension.ca decided to make the migration from Joomla to WordPress. Although another company build the new WordPress site, IDL Web was tasked to continue with providing support and maintenance on the new WordPress version.
Over the years, we have been working closely with the Hypertension Canada team to provide regular site updates. The annual Congress requires multiple timely site updates which our staff are all involved with. IDL Web also assisted in implementing a new website design based on provided design files. There has been various requests where we were tasked with API development to interface and communicate with a 3rd party system.
On the hosting front, we regularly update WordPress and all related plugins. We ensure PHP and MySQL are both up to date. As part of our Plus hosting packages, we actively monitor the site for an uptime issue as well as have scanners checking the site daily for any possible security issues. As a Plus hosting customer, we are proactive in resolving any detected issues, often times without our client even realizing an issue exists. That is the IDL Web’s proactive approach to our customer’s success.
