Project Story
In 2018, Popular Book searched for a new web agency to redesign their website. Being in the same office building, they naturally stopped by our offices to discuss the project requirements. We have been involved with every aspect of the website since that initial meeting.
A year later, as the world was introduced to COVID, the company saw a massive increase in demand for their education books as kids were learning from home. We quickly had to upgrade their server space to a dedicated environment to meet the resource demand for Popular Book’s educational products.
We have been involved with key developments over the years, specifically developing a custom API mechanism for order fulfilment with a large Toronto based fulfilment company. We’ve also created a complex API logic with MailChimp, where based on customer behaviour and purchasing patterns specific MailChimp tags are assigned for future email marketing.
We are also heavily involved on the marketing front, coordinating various promotional campaigns throughout the year with the Popular Book marketing team. This also involves automating product discounts as well as sending various emails during the duration of the campaign.
