About You:
- 3+ years experience in WordPress Development
- Passionate about web development
- Self-motivated, energetic developer who takes initiative and not shortcuts
- Strong knowledge of: HTML5, CSS3
- Good knowledge of: LESS, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, PHPmyadmin
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, Basic Photoshop, Popular Joomla Extensions and WordPress Plugins
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to meet deadlines
About the Position:
- General WordPress support and development
- Template conversations from various design file formats to WordPress
- Content + navigation structure implementation
- Extensions/Plugins installation and configuration
- Minor PHP modifications to Extensions/Plugins
- Responsive CSS + Mobile/Tablet testing
- Cross-browser website testing
- W3C HTML + CSS validation
- Optimize web pages based on SEO reporting
- Optimize web pages based on Google Insights report
- Optimize web pages for faster load times (caching).
- Manipulate MySQL data (import/export/alter) data via PHPmyadmin
